ALTERNATIVE INTERACTIONS WITH ARCHIVES


What are considered archival materials and what is our relationship with these artefacts?



Funded by Arts Council England, this research project explored experiential ways to engage with silenced histories. Focussing on Black British experiences, questions surrounding the ownership and accessibility of archival materials examined whilst unearthing possibilities on how technology can preserve and create learning environments for related communities.

The work produced was featured in the Childhood.Memories.00s exhibition held at Metroland Studios in London.
